Scott Akins goes Guy Ritchie, with this entertaining Martial Arts caper. Adkins plays the kind of Hit man that Bronson did in the 70's as 'The Mechanic'. In layman's terms, a man whom makes a hit appear to be an accident. As in the Bronson/ Michael Winner effort, things go awry. Adkins proves that his mastery of Taekwondo are second to none. He also flaunts MMA skills which everybody does now since the birth of 'John Wick', which must have been a heavy influence on this action flick, with less gun play.
Adkins gives the movie a decidedly amusing 'Cockney' slant, which I liked. Adkins is also a very competent actor, however my Brother thought he looked a bit too much like Rob Brydon to be convincing, I don't agree. The fight scenes are as usual, very gripping, & well choreographed. SORTED!!!
