Thoroughly enjoyable sequel to Frozen. I found the songs less wow factor this time, however the visuals are absolutely stunning . What they have managed to recapture is a powerful storyline, it was hard not to be moved by Elsa’s journey to find herself once more, ever deepening her self discovery. I sincerely hope there is a third movie. In the meantime, we will be watching this again and again.

Ok I'll add the caveat that I've never been on the Frozen hype train, always thought that Tangled was a better film but not quite as marketable for the Disney hype train! Frozen 1 was good, probably 4* but 2 it's pretty middle of the road. What it is really is a collection of songs, none of which have the punch to be memorable, like the hits from the first one. To me it really felt like they had tried to weave a story around some songs that were sitting on the discarded pile or if I was really cynical a story based around what they can push around marketing!
It's quite hard to critique without spoilers but suffice to say that the over aching story makes little to no sense & I'll leave it at that!
A film for your collection but not one to be watched over & over.

So pleased to have this on DVD and it is as great as the first. Having now mastered her powers Queen Elsa rules Arendelle with love and kindness with her sister Anna along with Kristoff his reindeer Seven and Olaf the snowman. But when she hears a strange voice calling her she accidentally awakens some Ancient Spirits that repentance the four elements Earth,Air,Water and Fire putting everyone in the the kingdom in danger. Troll Leader Grand Pabbie tells them that the source is coming from the Mysterious Enchanted Forest in the North so Elsa,Anna and their friends headed off to comfort the Spirits and along the way they find hidden secrets that will change their lives forever. This sequel was well worth waiting for the animations are even more beautiful than the original, the cast are as funny as ever especially Josh Gad as Olaf and the songs were very good my four favorite songs are Olaf’s song when I am older, Kristoff’s song Lost in the woods, Anna’ heartfelt song The next right thing and my favorite Elsa’s moving song Show yourself. Overall I highly recommended this to all Frozen fans.

The DVD did not arrive with the limited edition sleeve. Not the first time a seller online has falsely advertised the collectors editions sleeved Cases as the product photo. As it was bought for my younger brother, I am not overly phased by the missing sleeve.

Although the case did arrive sealed, the disc inside was not securely in place. Also, I dont know if it's just me or someone else thinks this too, the case doesn't look right to me 😅 I know it's more about the movie compared to the appearance of the case, but I'm really fussy with the conditions of my collections 😅🤣 The image also looks quite pixelated and faded, I'm not sure if that's the intention or if less effort goes into DVDs appearances in today's day and age with Disney Plus, Funimation and Netflix etc... so maybe I'm just being awkward. In one of the photos, I used the aristocats collectors case to point out the rough cut of plastic film sealing in the image. Just to see if there was a big difference or not.

Honestly, the biggest issue was the fact the disc wasnt secure in the case. As I didnt expect to get the sleeve anyway.

First things first, I love this film and yes i am an adult.

The story of the film is a lot better and more comprehensive than the first film, it’s got a lot more depth - it may be slightly more complicated for young children to full understand.

There are highs and lows to this film, you can go from crying from laughing to crying from sadness in a matter of 30 seconds.

The music is still catchy and easy to sing along too.

I loved this film so much that I bought the DVD and didn’t wait for it to go on any streaming service. I 100% recommend this for any Disney fan
