Mucho lio en la cabeza de quienes hicieron la película. No se sabe cual es el mensaje, y como comedia no vale para nada.

Me considero una fan de Katherine Heigl, he visto bastantes de sus películas y me encanta en especial «La cruda realidad», filmada dos años después que ésta y en la que hace un papel similar: la de una mujer vinculada al medio televisivo.
Pero aquí acaban todos los parecidos. En «La cruda realidad» Heigl tenía buena química con su partenaire masculino, Gerard Butler, y había una tensión erótica latente entre ambos. En un «Lío embarazoso» es todo lo contrario. Ella tiene una noche loca con un tipo que está en sus antípodas: holgazán, drogata, físicamente descuidado (interpretado convincentemente por Seth Rogen). Esto sobre el papel podría dar pie a situaciones divertidas, pero la diversión se me ha quedado congelada en la boca y, más que otra cosa, he sentido incomodidad por esta relación que se plantea en la película entre dos personas que no pegan ni con cola.

A mistake that can happen to any couple so to speak, but a great mistake at that.
There's a whole array of mainstream Hollywood comedians from this time in the film and they help carry what is really a pretty mundane idea. Bloke meets girl in a nightclub, has a one night stand with her, gets her pregnant and after both their shock decide to keep the baby.
There are no twists or turns in this film and it could even perhaps be considered a romantic comedy. (Although the jury is still out!)
The lead chap's lifestyle could not be any more different to Alison's, (the lead lady). He is a pot smoking waster in short and she is a determined young television presenter working for E Entertainment.
The constant bickering between Alison's sister and husband, (who have two children) show how testing married and family life is. There is a funny scene where it transposes that Alison's sister's husband is playing fantasy baseball, when she thought he was having an affair.
There's not any thought provoking stuff and it does seem its full 2hrs 5 mins. It would have been better suited to 1hr 40 mins. Its also one of those films where the viewer is left wondering just what happens once the baby is born. Ie Everything leads up to the culmination of the birth and nothing is shown after, (a lot of films run like that which is disappointing).
Still there's laughs a plenty and its perhaps a movie that should be watched with a partner with a sense of humour!

Judd Apatow's very funny comedy about pregnancy and responsibility. Crazy good for nothing Seth Rogan gets the lovely Katherine Heigl pregnant during a drunken one-night stand. Then decided he wants to be a part of her and the baby's life and tries hard to be responsible. Ably assisted by his nerdy friends and her married sister. Close to the knuckle jokes and a credible relationship between the leads make for a very entertaining but never cheesy rom-com.

I really liked this film. Mostly it was funny, but with some more tender moments too. I thought that Katherine Heigl was really cool in this, but I think that the boy who gets her pregnant, Ben - played by Seth Rogen, really did well as the guy who is kinda "loserish" and who gets Alison pregnant, but who decides to do the decent thing and stick by her and somehow pull himself up to be a now "not so loserish" dad, which Alison responds positively to and it becomes really quite heart warming. Really found this film surprisingly good, and so I do really recommend this.

The cast are likeable and don't over act. The script has some cheesy gags but as the characters are sympathetic there are some good laughs.
If you're not too prudish but you don't find plain vulgarity funny, this is an amusing way to pass the time.
Well above average.

Seen this film years ago and remembered it was good. After purchasing it and watching it again I can confirm tha it is infact a really good film. The combination of Rogens effortless quality and Apatows renowned talent works a wonder as expected. The rest of the cast do a good job too, and the story is more involving and hertwarming than I remember, but just as hilarious.
