Oil in the blood is a movie that could help you to explain the way you feel about motorcycling. It could help you to justify the feeling you have inside. The one that makes you feel sorry for the people who don't have the motorcycling gene.
You don't have to be a motorcycle engineer, an artist or a designer to understand that all the motorcycle people who feature in the film are all of the above, it's in their blood, their DNA.
The movie spanked me on my ass and taught me about an aspect of motorcycling that I thought I didn't like very much, or at least wasn't at the top of my motorcycling agenda.
I found it, inspirational, macho, sympathetic, optimistic, stylish and feministic all at the same time. and I'm very happy that it has found its way into my collection.
If you love motorcycles or you love someone who loves motorcycles buy this movie and and enjoy it.
By the way. The first time you watch it try not to keep pausing and rewinding to look at all the beautiful machines (I did that) before remembering you own the disc you can do that at your leisure.

This film is a very entertaining watch, with a great soundtrack too.

What a film! Thoroughly enjoyed watching this and the production quality is superb. The passion of those interviewed was infectious and I now have a long list of quirky events I'd love to visit. For anyone who's interested in motorcycles or subcultures this is must watch.

I’m a massive Uk custom bike fan and have been to the the bike shed show on multiple occasions. This dvd was ok in parts but seemed like it was made by a few bike builders moaning about not making money or getting requests from people wanting custom bikes on the cheap. Should have shown more private shed builders in my view. And more about the bikes and their individual details. That’s why bike shows are so successful because we love looking at the details of individual bikes.
