I thoroughly enjoyed watching this movie with my daughter.

Most of the way through, I was reasonably content to sit back and let the plot (good vs evil, chosen one, magic artifact yada-yada) pass me by, and simply enjoy the low level jokes, the attention to detail, the fun characters, the hilarious parodies, and the shameless mocking of all manner of pop culture clichés and western life in general.

Only in the last half hour or so of the movie, when the underlying plot is really exposed, do you realise the absolute genius of the story; the amazing parallel between the Lego world's fight against "oppression" and what we've all experienced in real life as kids - when we've gone from diligently making kits from instructions, to letting our imagination run riot.

It means in the end the movie wins on every level - and I thoroughly recommend buying it because I genuinely think you could watch this many times in short succession and still spot new details to be amazed by.

The perfect 3D film for everyone, we all played with Lego as kids so I guess everyone can relate to the story in some way.

This is such a fun film you can forgive everyone walking round for a month after singing the annoying theme-song!

Watching in 3D brings all the figures to life and shows the care and attention to detail displayed by the director and crew. I can't recommend it highly enough for any 3D fan 10/10!

Also, Batman is hilariously stupid.

Fantastic movie! If you have seen a Lego film before then you will know that there is something for all ages in them, suitable for ages 3-99! Witty with a great storyline this film has been watched several times in my house since ownership a week ago. The 3D aspect is fantastic, remaining sharp and with sense of good depth. Great little twist at the end of the film too!

If you build it, then you should buy it!

Personally I enjoyed this more at the cinema than on the small screen (50" wall mounted plasma) but the kids still love it.

There are lots of nice moments and nods to a vast number of different movies - I seem to see something different every time.

The 3D is good, but not spectacular, in my opinion.

A must see for all Lego aficionados and a worth while see for anyone else with a young family.

Utterly amazing film for all ages. I sat memorised. It is also terrific fun spotting all of the intertextuality references to other films that is non-stop. The film is also bonkers that adds to its delight. It also boasts some really good 3D. Who would have thought a film about Lego would be such a treat!
