Producto ASIN B005C4444C. El menú del bluray ofrece la opción subtitles ON/OFF, en el SETUP. Sorpresa!
I'd never really been a Jared Leto fan. I bought this on a whim. The last mortal is ill, potentially dying. He tells the story of his life and the great loves of his life. We then split into several narratives as he meets these significant others. The reality shifts are visually distinct, so you never really lose which plot thread you're following. It has grand ambitions but as a philosophical piece it lacks clarity in its vision. One of the partnerships is greatly under developed in favour of other story lines which makes it feel a tiny bit under finished. It's poignant, often profound, but ultimately an unfinished essay that needs to be developed further.
I don't want to spoil the ending but I thought this was a very clever film. The camera effects were a cynch. It was dramatic and amusing and seemed to explore relationships and choices therein.
I bought this back in September, but only got around to watching it this weekend. I was really looking forward to it. Unfortunately my viewing entertainment was disturbed by the DVD pixilating every now and again. We managed to get over that, but the worst bit - it did it towards the end of the film, locked up, and now I have no idea how it ended! If anyone can help me out there, I'd appreciate it. The film was great - from what I saw - the DVD was damaged. Shame it took me so long to get around to watching it, as it's too late to return it.
Thoroughly enjoyed this film, which had many clever visual effects. I thoroughly recommend it for its; artistic & surreal images, good acting and total lack of 'flying police cars' and other sundry twaddle. This is a 'thinking man's' sort of film
