Where to start with this car-wreck of a film, one-dimensional characters, sloppy storyline (if any) and boring to the point of numbness. The story is that the brother (I have even forgotten his name) sells some hash (get that) to a cop. Ends up being banged up and has to have an address to stay after release. He has three sisters who really do not want to have him in their house. Cue all manner of unfunny situations. Enter Steve Coogan and Emily Mortimer (hopelessly miscast) as his sister and brother-in-law. They just cannot manage an American accent. His middle sister is a journalist and his youngest is a lesbian who has an affair with a bloke and (of course) gets pregnant.He spends the whole film looking for his dog Willie Nelson. God save from hearing that name again. Miss this at your pleasure. Waste of time and money.

I love this film for its portrayal of innocence and ingenuousness amid betrayal and hypocrisy. Paul Rudd is very good as the honest but hapless innocent. His three sisters and their partners are well played too. I especially love the scene when they try to get his dog, Willy Nelson, back from the hippy ex-girlfriend. The writing is clever and the acting is superb. I recommend this for a good, gentle laugh and and its feel-good factor.

A very feel-good story with a highly loveable main character (Paul Rudd) who might not be the brightest of people, but has a heart of gold and a positive outlook on life. The all of cast is brilliant and had done their job very well, the movie is also funny, which obviously makes it a really good comedy. Highly recommended for 'pick me up' or 'chill-down' time ;)

Paul Rudd, Elizabeth Banks, Adam Scott, Rashida Jones and Zooey Deschanel, just looking at the cast alone I could tell this would be a funny movie! It's not the type of movie that's going to win Oscars and get a load of nominations, it's just an easy watching, funny, feel good film! You can't go wrong with one of them! :)
