I wanted to get this film as it features a rare appearance of Barry McGuire (Eve of Destruction) . What I also liked very much was the commentary which gave an interesting insight to the film. If this is a period you are interested in I recommend it but it’s a niche product.
I am very pleased with it because I have been after this film for a long time, and I pleased that it finally got a blue ray release and I think it is a underrated film.
One of the great 60s satires - in my view, it's up there with "Dr. Strangelove". A miilion times sharper and funnier than the childish ramblings of "Austin Powers".
A brilliant satire on politics, mores, and why "Everyone hates the phone company." Mr Coburn was a great actor, and has a wonderful supporting cast. It's fun, funny and right on target, and no one was a better, smile than Mr Coburn.
