No sé porqué desde Amazon España los comentarios aparecen como que este pack está en castellano cuando NO LO ESTÁ. ES TODO EL PACK EN INGLÉS, en mi caso no tengo problemas porque lo entiendo, pero si no sabes el idioma, ignora este producto: SÓLO EN INGLÉS.

When I purchased the original SG-1 series I thought I would not be able to watch this spin off but I caught myself taken by it. Even if it is happening in parallel with the time line of some of the SG-1 stories and even some of the characters of the original series appear in Atlantis it has completely unique story. It is placed in galaxy far far away and this means some of the new rules, races and also enemies. If you enjoyed SG SG-1 I would recommend to watch Atlantis as well. It has the spirit of the Original series and the chemistry between characters is also good.You will be able to uncover some of the secrets of the Ancients which was not told in original series.

I don't know who thought this type of case was a good idea but they are sadly very wrong. It is a very fiddly and heart-in-the-mouth type of storage trying to get the discs out easily. On a number of occasions, I thought the discs were going to snap in half and because each series are tiered each disc has to be taken out, watched then put aside so you have discs lying all over the place until you use the last disc then they can all be re-inserted. I have a few box sets and this and Star Gate SG1 are the worst I've ever encountered. I expect more from a company like MGM. Very disappointed. Although the series is great it's two stars off for the case.

At the time this was being shown on Sky, I used to criticize Atlantis a lot. Now, I really appreciate the effort and storylines. If you like gazing at handsome men, this is perfect. Jason Momoa....Joe Flanagan, oh my. It’s funny and even the awful Rodney McKay is bearable, once you see the outtakes and how much energy David Hewlett put into being obnoxious. I don’t ‘sledge’ it.
Amanda Tapping joined in season 4 and she was great, she looked gorgeous and her acting was really good. There are outtakes! Just for once. It was great to see people making errors, but it also shows the excellent quality of the cast.

The series itself is entertaining for the most part. Some episodes are really good, some are a bit far fetched and boring, but overall good entertaining and likeable caracters. What almost ruined the whole show for me was THE most stupid product placement beginning in season 3 which really spoiled many episodes for me. They are in a far away galaxy all across the whole universe… and people are dinking stupid french Evian water in plastic bottles ????? Seriously ???? It totally ruins the show cause it’s so totally ridiculous they would transport plastic water bottles from earth for the hundreds of people living in Atlantis… ( not to mention the waste and recycling aspect, but OK, the show is over 10 years old) . Those stupid plastic bottles everywhere and all the time really ruined it for me…. Sandwhiches in plastic boxes ok, might be believable they prepared them there in Atlantis, but Evian bottles from earth ??? Really ??? Perfect example of ruining the credibility of an otherwise mostly good show…

Season 1 disc 1 has deep scratch and doesn't play properly !

This review is for the product I received rather than the TV show itself

The show itself is one of my most favourite shows ever and is definitely up there with SG-1, but the latter being surely superior

The blu ray boxset I received however was not in good condition at all.. the item itself was packaged well... But after unsealing the item and opening the case I was met with blu ray discs scattered all in the case... They were absolutely everywhere... After putting them back in the holders I decided to check over the discs... This is where I encountered the main problem... Season 1 disc 1 has got a very deep scratch and after putting the disc in my blu ray player it fails to recognise it is there... I assume this is because of the extremely poor packaging on MGM's behalf as it leads to lots of laying scattered around in the case...

I will be returning this item, but if you want to buy this item be sure of the risk that the packaging means that discs will most probably not be in the case properly and may be scratched
