Este actor, cada día que pasa es mejor, no solamente por sus condiciones físicas sino porque, encima, es de los que son actores de verdad.
Sus películas son tan entretenidas que, si por casualidad me encuentro con una de ellas en una cadena de TV, no puede dejar de verla.
Esta película aumenta su filmografía y, como siempre, no decepciona. Él es el amo de todas las situaciones. Maravilloso!

As a fan of both martial arts and dark humor, I was thrilled to discover "Accident Man" on Blu-ray. And let me tell you, this movie did not disappoint.

First of all, the fight scenes are absolutely incredible. Scott Adkins, who plays the titular "Accident Man," is a master of his craft, and every punch, kick, and elbow is executed with precision and finesse. But what really sets this movie apart is the way it blends the action with dark, irreverent humor. The dialogue is witty and clever, and the characters are all delightfully twisted.

The plot centers around Adkins' character, who is a hitman specializing in making his kills look like accidents. But when one of his closest friends is murdered, he sets out to uncover the truth and get revenge. Along the way, he crosses paths with a cast of characters that includes a crime boss played by Ray Stevenson, a femme fatale played by Ashley Greene, and a hilariously inept duo of hitmen played by Michael Jai White and Ray Park.

The Blu-ray itself is top-notch. The picture quality is crystal clear, and the sound is immersive and dynamic. There are also plenty of bonus features, including behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with the cast and crew.

Overall, "Accident Man" is a must-see for fans of martial arts and dark comedy. It's a masterful blend of action and humor that will leave you laughing and cheering in equal measure. If you're looking for a fun, offbeat movie to add to your collection, this is definitely one to consider. Highly recommended!

Being a man of a certain age (*Cough! Middle-aged! Cough!*) I was at one point in time the prime target for a certain UK comic book delightfully titled ''Toxic!''. Anarchic, vulgar but highly entertaining - it introduced me to a feast of crazy characters: From my personal favourite 'Marshall Law' to 'Detritus Rex', 'The Dinner Ladies From Hell' and one amusing fella simply known as 'Accident Man'. Obviously, as the mists of time fogged my brain with mortgages, the daily grind of work and pin numbers I had almost forgotten this little treasure but now, thanks to that fine fella Scott Adkins - its back in my life via a handy, DVD shaped box. Let's give it a look-see...

Mike Fallon (Adkins) is a seasoned hit man known for making his target's death look like an accident - hence his moniker 'Accident Man'. Operating in a sub-Guy Richie apples 'n pears London, he ply's his deadly trade under the tutorship of Obi-Wan type mentor Big Ray (Ray Stevenson) alongside an assortment of fellow assassins (Michael Jai White, Ray Park, Amy Johnston, et al) who are each as devoid of social conscience as our erstwhile ''hero''. However, when Fallon's ex-girlfriend is found murdered in a botched home invasion - he takes it upon himself to investigate and uncovers a deadly conspiracy which will unravel Mike's life forever...

The movie, although well-choreographed and expertly directed by Jesse V. Johnson (he of the superior 'Savage Dog' and 'The Package') is a bit hit and miss, I'm afraid. The film tries hard to emulate the source material but the sly deviance and dark humor (think the high level snark of 'American Psycho' by way of 'The Punisher' with a sprinkle of '80s Ben Elton) of the original is lost in the midst of sub-gangster style fisticuffs and the need for a ruck every 3 minutes. Lead Adkins is a marvelous balletic performer (In my humble opinion, his 'Undisputed/Boyka' creation is the best modern day action hero we old 'uns have at the moment) but his screenplay stumbles with an uneven tone that basically only exists as a showcase for his stunt performers. There is a brief moment of greatness where the film flips back to the '90s illustrating the initial meeting and impending tutorship of a young Fallon by Big Ray, played lovingly to the melodic tunes of The Jam but is sadly cut short in order for the modern day plot to kick back in for another round of endless head punches and nonsensical action set-pieces. The film isn't terrible by any means, but once you hit the 30 minute mark, its already shown you all it can and there's nothing left but another hour of repetition until the inevitable finishing line.

Sony's UK DVD release sports a solid transfer with vibrant, punchy audio accompanied by an audio commentary with Adkins and co-writer Stu Small, who (although continents apart) banter their way through the running time offering the lowdown on the filming, which is a fun listen. There's also a few short featurette's: Assassin’s Roll Call and Violent Ballet which round out the package. All in all, this is a low budget direct to video action flick which wants nothing more than to deliver 95 minutes of adrenaline charged action (which, if in the right frame of mind does. Especially with added Scotch) but the lack of a real budget and uneven screenwriting render it an admirable effort, but sadly nothing more. 'Undisputed III' this ain’t.

Excellent movie and I highly recommend. The fight scenes are really good. I gave it a 4 star because the sound was not very good. Sometimes the words are clearly delivered, but other times it sounds like they are speaking with their head underwater. Whoever was responsible for the sound, meaning spoken words, did not do such a good job.

A fun movie despite budgetary constraints, featuring enthusiastic performances and kick ass action.
As a fan of the original Toxic comic book character, I consider this a pretty faithful adaptation, and as I understand, the movie was personal project for Scott Adkins, who gives his all as Mike Fallon (aka Accident Man).
It’s a real shame that this didn’t get big studio backing and therefore hasn’t reached a wider audience, but in my humble opinion, it’s worth investing in. I suspect Mr Adkins didn’t want to compromise though, so more power to him.
It also looks very good on Blu ray.
Recommended for fans of the genre

Yea, its a little over the top in the amount of fight scenes, and the plot is the same (girl gets murdered, boy revenge kills everyone). But in all fairness, Scott does a good job and the other actors too! My chiropractor played the Vicar and I am looking forward to the sequel!

So, picture this, it's the early 90's, you've been brought up on a diet of the beano and dandy comics, then onto the likes of GI Joe and transformers. Then Toxic Comic comes out, and you're exposed to the likes of Marshall Law and Mike Fallon the Accident Man. You look forward to each instalment, it's the best comic story ever. No, seriously. Best comic story EVER!!!!!!!
Mike Fallon needed to be immortalized on film, and Scott Adkins (aka the man Ben Affleck wishes he was) has done that. And he's brilliant.
The film borrows heavily from Accident Man's first outing in the comics, from some of the hits to some of the dialogue. But having it brought to the screen is pretty much a school boys wet dream come true.
For a film that took less than 30 days to make, think it was actually about 24 days, the fight scenes are on point, the acting is great, and now I personally want more.
It's definitely going into my top 20 films.
Watch out for the Adkins plasters, nice touch.
